Hot stone, cupping, or aromatherapy? Picking the right add-on

Every session can be customized with an enhancement. Each one changes the experience in a different way.

Hot stone: warmth that helps you let go

Smooth, heated stones are used along with hands-on work. Warmth helps many people relax faster, which can make it easier to work into deeper layers of tension.

Try it if: you run cold, carry tension you can’t seem to release, or want an extra-soothing session, especially in a Colorado winter.

Skip it if: you’re sensitive to heat or have a condition where heat isn’t recommended. Let us know and we’ll adjust.

Cupping: lift instead of press

Instead of pressing down, cupping uses gentle suction to lift skin and tissue. Many people describe it as a feeling of space and release, especially across the back and shoulders.

Good to know: cupping can leave temporary round marks that fade over several days. They’re usually not painful, but plan accordingly if you have an event coming up.

Aromatherapy: set the tone

Essential oils are chosen to help you calm down, feel grounded, or wake up. It’s a simple way to make a session feel more restorative.

Important: tell us about any scent sensitivities, allergies, or migraines triggered by smells. Your intake form has a spot for this, and we’ll always check first.

Can I combine them?

Yes. Hot stone with aromatherapy is a favorite for deep relaxation. Cupping pairs well with focused work on the back and shoulders.

Each add-on is a small extra on top of any session. Add one when you book.
